It takes about 12-15 years of rigorous training to become a Neurophysician or Neurosurgeon. When we say Neurologist, it mostly means Neurophysician who treats patients with modalities (Pharmacological and Non-Pharmacological), other than surgery. Diseases like Headaches, Vertigo, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, Strokes, Muscle weaknesses are treated by Neurologists.
